Craigallan - Friday Night, Saturday Morning 31st August

Travelling north, leaving home Friday lunchtime to get a daylight traverse of Rannoch Moor.  Perfect timing for superb fish supper at the Real Food cafe in Tyndrum.  The weather closed in and conditions for the runners, of which Ian was one, completing the Ben Nevis Fell Race on Saturday were atrocious.  Fortunately I was able to conduct my spectating duties from the comfort of the Ben Nevis Inn.  A brief foray in the direction of the Red Burn met with howling winds and driving rain, so well done to all that managed the summit and back in those conditions.

Staying as usual at Craigallan managed a couple of shots on the shore of Loch Linnhe and in and around the hut before heading down the road to Fort William.
