Great weekend at High Moss in the Duddon Valley, the sun shone during the day and the temperature dropped to give a light frost overnight. This low key score event has something for everybody and the organiser, Paul, stepping in to cover at quite short notice, put on a brilliant course with controls taking the runners/walkers to some wonderful locations out towards the coast in one direction and over towards Dow Crag and Seathwaite Tarn in the other. Ros excelled both in the event and later in the kitchen. A wonderful meal was enjoyed by all with nibbles beforehand outside in the evening sunshine. The wine flowed and an extremely convivial evening was enjoyed in great company.

Keith and I made up a team allowing Ian to stretch his legs and have a faster run.

A short run on Sunday to collect some of the controls before heading home with a brief stop off for a couple of pics at the lovely little church in the hamlet of Seathwaite in the Duddon Valley.
Great weekend thanks to the organisers Paul and Ros and to all who turned up and were rewarded by the wonderful weather of the weekend.
