Aspull Sunday Run

Woke up to more wonderful sunshine.   Set off for a short local run with Ian, who was happy to jog along at my pace for a recovery run after his 23 miler on Saturday.

Enjoyed the brilliant sunshine on the local paths and tracks.   Found a footpath that took us into the field where the abandoned buses were dumped many years ago.  Wouldn’t be allowed today, but great photo possibilities.

Glad we got out early as quite suddenly the mist came in just as we got to the trigpoint.

As you can see this crop of wheat has been left in the field.  I can only assume that it wasn’t worth harvesting due to the wet conditions in the summer.  Food prices are set to rocket!
