Glasgow Weekend

A weekend in Glasgow to share with Bill his 87th Birthday, here he is like all true Scotsmen, checking the bill!

The sun shone on the journey up, but not much use when you’re in the car.  A brief  photo stop at Powfoot on the Solway estuary to take advantage of the lovely light.

Sunday was wet, cold and grey – perfect conditions for a visit to the Necropolis next to the cathedral.  The chimney belching out the smoke/steam is the Chivas Regal Distillery on the south side of the city.
