Cotton Grass

First time for a couple of weeks that I’ve been out on Winter Hill.  The Highlands of Scotland and the mountains of the Lake District have been wonderful, but our local hills are looking lovely just now.   An early evening run started off in shade and it looked like a soaking was on the cards, but it faired up nicely and the evening sun showed off the cotton grass, heathers and grasses to their best.
