Bowland Fells

With a great weather forecast of sunshine and blue skies, we headed up to Fell Foot just below Parlick.   No sign of the summit as the low cloud sat on the hill.  No problem it would lift soon – it didn’t, for quite some time.  No visibility on the tops – an easy job to make our way out to Fair Snape Fell or Paddy’s Pole if you prefer.  The plan was to pick up two further trigpoints, but this turned into a bit of a jog up and down a few hills before returning to Fair Snape and back to Parlick Fell.  Not quite the outing we had planned, but a good nine miles and yes as we got back to the car the sun came out Smile
