The End of Summer? Saturday 16th August

I hope not, but a definite change in the atmosphere on Winter Hill for our run this morning.  The moorland heather is at its best just now, but the pictures don’t show the strong wind that blew me off the path more than a couple of times.  Still not too cold for shorts and no rain was felt so a satisfying 11 miles and a good test of the ankle after the holiday injury.  Enjoyed every minute Smile
