As Ian was doing the Lake District Mountain Trial today, I was lucky enough to join friends from Bowland FR for a run out from the beautiful little village of Kettlewell in the Yorkshire Dales. Up to the summit of Great Whernside, which brought back memories of the Fellsman eek! Back down to the village and then a climb up to Cam Head and back to the equally picturesque hamlet of Starbottom and the trot back down Wharfedale. Just under eleven miles in good conditions, a little cloudy on top but dry and with great company. Refreshments in Zarina’s tea shop finished off the day nicely
